Famine 30 DIY camp in IMU‏

hi there,

This is Karmen Long from ME109. I need ur help to spread the msg to ur batch mates. Thank you.

We're organising a 30-Hour famine DIY camp in IMU, it's the 1st time ever IMU allow the students to stay overnight, please take on this golden opportunity and help to give the underprivileged children a brighter future.

The 30-Hour Famine is a global movement against hunger and poverty. Participants go without food for 30 hours and get a glimpse of the dire conditions that children and families in need endure everyday

We are actually still persuading IMU to allow us to stay overnight, they have actually agreed verbally, we just need to gather enough camper to show that IMU students are interested in these kinds of events. Hope u all could GIVE US SOME SUPPORT !

Each school will organized a DIY camp this year for the first 24 hours.

IMU Famine 30 DIY Camp
Date n Time: 22/8/09 12pm to 23/8/09 12pm
Venue: IMU
Camp Fee: RM10

For the last 6 hours (to sum up to 30 hours),all DIY camps will gather in Bukit Jalil. Pop Star Zhang Hui Mei , Amei from taiwan will be counting down with us. She will shared with us her experience in India and also will sing.

* p/s : only those who collect a donation of 80 bucks are entitled to the countdown sessions organized by WORLD VISION MALAYSIA*

The Famine aims to inspire and empower ordinary people to care for those in need, both locally and globally.
