Passport(3)

Dear MP's,

According to SAD,the purpose of sending the passport copy to Uni of Strathcylde is for them to produce the CAS letter. You will need this letter for visa application. Therefore, they do not need to email students details till say maybe half way through semester 5. As for when is the best time to renew the passport, they leave it to the students.

A reminder here, AAD do need our passport number in early December. So even though SAD only need our passport copy till half way through semester 5. My opinion is it's still better to get things prepared earlier. Hereby I sincerely apologize to those who were confuse about the time to renew their passports.

I apologize for those who rush to renew their passports.I'll start collecting the passport details after the briefing. Very sorry for all the troubles caused.

A message from Uni of Strathclyde

It would be good if you let the students have the Village Office address. This is the address students should give in the event that their luggage doesn’t arrive at Glasgow airport. Normally if luggage doesn’t arrive, students are required to complete the form at the airport and provide an address so that luggage can be delivered to the University. Therefore, students should put this address in the form:

UNIVERSITY OF STRATHCLYDE

VILLAGE OFFICE

1 WEAVER ST

GLASGOW G4 0NP

TEL: 0141-552-0626

Also you advise students that the cost for the purchase of 3rd year class notes will be £70.

URGENT about Flight

Mr Hira said the visa officers are only starting to process visa submitted on the 27th Sept today. So, those who submitted later than 27th, it will most probably be processed next week.

Please prepare your IELTs results too just in case the UK visa officer calls and ask you to submit it to them.

Also, email to GC your preferred flight choice... Return or One Way. If One way, Emirates or KLM.

Lastly, prepare your CAS letter and passport photo for application of International Student ID. These two things are to be given to Mr. Hira only whe your UK visa is approved.
